Brief Bio
When you hire a Realtor to help you in the process of buying or selling a home, you are placing significant trust in your Realtor. So it only seems fair that I tell you a bit about myself.
I have only done a few things in life. I have been a Husband and a Father and a Pastor and a Realtor.
I have been married to my extremely beautiful wife Kimberly for a little over three decades. After being in the home and teaching fitness for many years, Kimberly went back to school in 2010 and finished a Psychology degree in 2014. She has poured her heart out for several years now in helping women overcome the challenges of addiction. She walks alongside many ladies, whom she leads on a path to greater discipline, healing and dependence on Jesus Christ.
We have three kids, Caleb, Jacob and Kalyssa. We also have two wonderful additions: Lauren who married our son Caleb in 2020 and Kira who married our son Jacob in 2022.
Caleb and Lauren live in Edmonton. Jacob and Kira live in Okotoks. Kalyssa is still in Calgary :)
Kalyssa is our 'baby girl', our treaure and our delight. From the day she turned 14 she has always held a job, even while going to school. Much of that was caring for horses. That's very hard work and we're proud of her.
In addition to being a husband and father, I have also served as a pastor, both in the 'official sense', but moreso in an unofficial sense, seeking to care for people that cross my path from day to day. My simplest but best role as an unofficial pastor is to pray for the concerns of the people that I meet. If you ever need prayer (don't we all at one point or another), please don't be shy to ask.
And I continue to serve as a Realtor. I will make every effort to serve the needs of my clients with both honesty and dedication. You will not see my picture on bill-boards, but I will endeavour to serve my group of clients very well. I will continually update my knowledge of real estate in Calgary and surrounding areas so you can be sure that you have chosen a Realtor with the knowledge and experience needed for your next move.
By the way, if you are considering a new home, I have 15 years of experience in New Home Sales, which will enable me to walk you through questions about new home construction. If you find a home in an established community, we could even chat about renovation ideas.
That's enough about me. If I have the privilege of being your Realtor, I look forward to getting to know you a little bit as well.
